Tsukyoyomi, Suzuku, and Seiryu excluded from Dancer and Gunbreaker

I get that that going back and adding DNC/GNB weapons to every past trial/raid etc from prior expansions isn't neccisarily feasible with their budget and schedule.

But releaseing the new crafted ones without them? That feels bad. Even if it's just reused models with a glow slapped on, they couldn't have reskinned some DNC/GNB weapons to to fit the theme of these primals and added them in? Or Held them back a patch in order to include the new jobs?

So far we've lost a dungeon per patch, the deep dungeon, Hildebrand quest chain, the user-controlled farms never happened, the new races are incomplete and they allocated extra time to compensate for covid. In Stormblood we got HoH, 2 per patch dungeons, and they added SAM and RDM weapons to lots of the trials and older content from the start.

We have developers having to use their spare unpaid time to create content. What on earth are they doing with their resources or budget?

ARR rework for starters.

Though it also assumes that the devs have enough resources as opposed to the more likely scenario of the suits pinching every penny they can and diverting it into other projects, like later FF titles. I woudentbe surprised if the budget for FFXIV patches is a shoestring one without the MTX (and maybe even with the MTX).

Man, I can't wait to clear Ucob and Uwu, the HARDEST raids in the entire game on my Dancer and Gunbreaker! I can't wait, oh boy that weapon is gonna be amazing! There are only two weapons per job to be made, so it's only four weapons, I bet they are gonna be so dope man!

Alright! We're on enrage, and we've progged this fight for about a month now, I can't wait to spend my totem on that awesome glam to show off all of the hard work I just did so people can stare it its awesomeness! The MCH ucob gun was so lit man, this GNB blade is gonn be........

We have gotten some QOL updates, Ishgard restoration, new diadem, the new relic instance is incoming, crafting and gathering changes, and upgrades to them as well as crafting and gathering relics, ocean fishing. Shiva unreal ( though debatable on how much time and resources went into that). We can't rule out the farm thing since Shb is still going, we still have two poatches to go so we may still get it. Not trying to defend them, just I see a lot of people saying how little we have gotten and dismiss the things we have gotten, just because we lost a dungeon here and there.

Some want the suprise, but using reskinned shire is really cheap for Ultimmate...

Now you may argue that GNB and DNC didn't get any ARR weapons since they start at 60 but they didn't even get any lvl 60 weapons besides PotD and Shire, it's frankly ridiculous. They still don't even have a weapon for UCoB or UWU.

But they made a Coven weapon lol...

Yeah, adding a Coven weapon was just a waste of resources. Maybe not so much a waste of time since it was probably a reused model anyway, but definitely resources. They could have allocated those resources toward another GNB weapon instead of making a weapon that 99.9999% of the player base will never see, let alone actually obtain. It's also not all that great of a model anyway.
