The hairstyle/body type/face type request Megathread

I think personalities would be a fun thing to implement.

At character creation we could select a basic personality type that would determine the emotes we did in cutscenes. So like in certain situations a timid character may be startled and an aggressive one draws their weapon.

Beards, beards and some more beards. Basic body hair period. A light speckling of chest hair for the boys would be nice.

Also can we please get an eyebrow option for highlanders already.

I also like the above mention of personalities. Other mmos do this and it just adds a little something. I know we have idling animations but this would just take that up a notch.

I want Gaia's lips.
No joke lol.
I sometimes see people accusing her of having '' botox lips '' ( because people have to accuse women of cosmetic surgery constantly? ).
But... It's just lipstick o_o.
You can use lipstick to make your lips look bigger.

The lipstick in this game is pretty weak imo, the makeup in general is.
I'd just like to see more makeup in general really and more variety of it.

Edit: Not to mention that some ethnicities just have larger lips too on average, as well as larger frames.
Sometimes people act as if anything above the Caucasian average = fake and exaggerated.

And you can play the race card here but there is no ethnicity in the world that has this combination of features outside of social media and plastic surgery. More options for different racial features would be amazing and should just be standard by now, but these are not it.

I'd like a lipstick without a gloss- it would help with the colouring some. Gloss has always looked gross to me but matte lipstick comes off more mature.
I love Gaia's hairstyle- but as far as her features go, I agree with you Micah. The only reason Gaia is unique is because of her lips & *gorgeous* hair. Take that away, she's pretty basic. Gaia has exaggerated features like an anime girl- tiny nose/ big eyes - same thing for Zenos- his features are exaggerated as well, which makes him another ugly anime guy who just sits in a chair, eyes closed with a dumb grin. (A bad guy cliche you often see in animes)

More options for different racial features would be ideal, I'd love better dreaded hairstyles, braided hairstyles, side braids, long curly hairstyles, (like Gaia's gorgeous locks! not the choppy mess female players currently have) Less spikey anime hair imo- spikey anime hair doesn't look good and I can't be told different. non-tribal tattoos- seriously the tribal tattoos in this game are horrendous- it's not 1999 anymore. More makeup/ face paint options that can be worn with other face paint at the same time (like having blush AND eyeshadow - I doubt people who want better cosmetic changes will ever see it. but look at the company- anything outside of pale skin, maid outfits, spikey mullets is typically not the norm. It's why most players have pale characters in really basic glamours. Going outside of a comfort zone to try to do anything creative would actually have to take a creative, open minded person in the 1st place.
I don't dislike Gaia for her features, I see it as a step in trying to somewhat bring new features to characters- but the attempt seems wasted when it could have been instead given to the playerbase to use- like Ryne, Lyse, Hilde, Yugiri, Ysayle, Cid, Estinien, Zenos, Hien-- just to name a few with different features that could be added, even by Yoshi P's terms- if enough people ask for certain cosmetics (i think it was Hilde's hairstyle or Ysayles to be specific) he'd *consider* having made available. /sigh

There's never a biker mom option and you have the issue of limiting peoples visions to archetypes and anime cookie cutter. No thanks.

All races should have more face options with a max of 8 different options for each race/clan.

Expanded height range. Mostly allow the small races to be a little bigger and the big races be a little smaller.

More hair options for Viera and Hrothgar with hair not being tied to the Hrothgar face model.

All races should have access to the muscle definition slider. Even potatoes can be ripped lol

Au Ra horns not tied to face models.

More facepaint/tattoo options.

Remove facial hair from face details and give it it own category with more options and facial hair for all races/faces.

Actual makeup options and not just facepaint.

i want her outfit to be honest, especially the body and the leg part.

as for her make up and stuff, to me gaia look like your typical girl who hangout in mall/cafe/crowd public place like akihabara and such, who usually just sit there and play/text a lot with her phone, and the type who usually the V pose when taking a picture lol

i swear i see lot of her "type" in my regular mall/cafe back before covid lol

I do find it very weird that all the "highlanders" on the first still shave their eyebrows, considering they come from a completely different culture.

Yeah, that'd be cool. Elder Scrolls Online does it and it allowed me to better create a character to suit my personal tastes.

This is a must and honestly it should just be a toggle in creation. In fact it should be a toggle for all races cause sometimes peeps don't want brows for storytelling purposes.

It would also be nice if we could slightly modify our voices. As in you may like Voice option 4 but maybe you want it to be a little more deeper or a little higher.
