    Isn't the MB gear better? I don't remember the ilevel for the idealized sets. And the new raid drops gear, as does the new dungeon. What's the problem, besides glams, with your other options?

    A lot of it is better than the crafted gear depending on the piece and stats, and each piece has 5 materia slots as opposed to 2 on the crafted stuff. The item level is the same, but the potential stat boosts are pretty decent. They are probably good starter sets for a fresh 80.

    Glamours are exactly the problem. True endgame and all that.
