    What a dreadfully presumptuous comment.
I was as straightforward as possible and didn't include any subjective phrasing at all.

Most people said the sheer size of players in alliance raids would give them social anxiety, while playing with 7 or 3 players wouldn't make them uncomfortable

Others said they didn't want to learn to play a raid synced down to level 50 toolkits.

I also don't believe I've ever discussed WOW in a serious context in my life either, I find FF14 infinitely more appealing.

How do I know? Because I commission StatisticFromMyArse Corporation to conduct my survey, the same company that you hired to get your statistic. Oh but they assured me that the statistic they gave is the correct one though, and yours is faulty. And I know you're wrong, because I enjoy doing them, very much so in fact.

So now what, that you have been proven utterly wrong?
My Unknown sources verified by my uncle's ass who works at Square Enix indicate that you are very wrong, and that no less than 169% of the playerbase enjoys running dungeons in this game.

I think you should just leave this thread now to spare yourself any further embarrassment.

ARR has the best dungeon design. Nowadays it's just long corridors

So you go into it with your level 50 toolkit when you're level 50 and you're used to having that toolkit. It's no different to clearing a dungeon at the same level - and many of the dungeons have similar or worse gimmicks to learn than CT does at this point.

As for social anxiety from the larger group, you're ultimately still in an eight-man party and don't interact with the other two groups at all. Almost all mechanics come back to "fight X with your group of eight" but there are three Xs on the field.

Have you actually, personally played CT at this point or are you hanging back dreading the idea of "raiding"?

Just think of them as large-scale dungeons. It's what they are. If you're not confident, your group will probably pull you through and you don't have to touch it ever again.

Nah, I am not embarassed at all. Why should I? The OP claimed an "upwards to 60%" of people are 'forced' to do their dungeons because they "didn't enjoy them", as if that is the undeniable truth. From where did he get that 60% figure? From his arse, nothing more. And again, like I said, I am a relatively new player and I enjoy doing them.

Stupid statements deserved stupid replies, nothing more.

To be honest, no I have not touched the Crystal Tower series and will need to clear it myself, but while I would rather not complete the raid - my personal grievances with needing to do so aren't great enough for me to desire to Express them in detail.

I mentioned how parties generally function in alliances raids, but the fact that you'd still be exposed to potential text from o23 other players was too much for them.

The toolkit concern wasn't really clear to even me tbh, but it seems that several of the relative people just wished to rush through the free trial or ARR/ HW and not spend much time polishing their job play until SB onwards.

    I was being wholly facetious.
If you were playing along immaculately well, I apologize for bringing that up.

    Please do it.

Especially if you're scaring off would-be players by describing it to them when you haven't actually seen how it works.

They are like dungeons. The quests are like dungeon quests. You will meet characters that you know from the MSQ and find out an additional part of their story and a better appreciation of what happens in Shadowbringers.

And yes, you will need to complete all three large-scale dungeons over the course of the story to reach its conclusion, just like you have to complete regular dungeons to progress regular MSQ.

Unless you plan to be held up forever and not play the conclusion to Shadowbringers Part 2 in 5.3, you absolutely need to do them and the story is a missing puzzle piece in the narrative for you right now.

To be clear, if you don't know anything about the CT story and you need spoilers (in conjunction with Shadowbringers spoilers) to understand why you need to do it...
...it's your first meeting with the will-be Exarch. He is the central character of the entire thing. You are supposed to recognise him as an old friend.

Really. Just play it. It's not as painful as you think it's going to be.

Well tbh ARR 24man raids are horrible boring. Nearly zero mechanics and just tank and spank. Few bosses with insta wipe moves so you better hope raid has people with chats open.
