Faux leaves don't expire though, so I'll just steadily build some up until they add something to the shop I really want.
Also, so if a cool item comes out during Levi Unreal I can get it without running that. Yuck.

Not quite - Faux leaves never expire, so you are guaranteed your rewards given enough time, whereas Wonderous tails is full RNG, and with bad luck, requires grinding new player points (which can dry up after patches have been out a while) if you want to grind out possible 2/3 line combos. Not to mention the statistical insanely low odds of a person getting 3-line board means you're more likely to get the mount from Faux Hollows before you'd ever get a gold certificate.

Not to mention Faux Leaves are RNG too, meaning some weeks you can go with only 10 points, and some you can get 100, majorly shortening the projected amount of weeks to obtain.

Faux Leaves vs Wonderous tails is essentially 'potentially slow to luck but guaranteed' vs 'potentially quick with luck or requiring grinding' (2 line) / Statistically insanely low if relying on luck or would require insane amounts of grinding on average (3 line)'
