Why does everyone on here want to go back to SB DRK, when it was the worst tank. It was arbitrary spam, and hardly anyone played it. It's now the second most played tank and is rated higher than it's ever been. We need to work on evolving from where we are now, not another complete overhaul.

If you're really looking for an evolution to DRK's gameplay, simply equip an axe.

What's up with using the word "arbitrary" as an argument? Everything is arbitrary. There's no reason for WAR's mostly-lackluster gameplay sans burst. There's no reason to have 12 steps for a rotation for PLD. It's just there. It's all "arbitrary." The fact it had a lower GCD and higher APM is entirely for flavor and choices. Wanna play fast? There's DRK. Slow? There's PLD and WAR.

The fact it wasn't played as much was due to fear-mongering stigma, and far less to the job's kit, and that's entirely justifiable to say by looking at statistics of the job in the hands of the competent. Worst tank? There's bound to be a third place, buddy, but it says nothing ill of a job's performance.


If you hated SB DRK so much and praise ShB DRK's iteration, why didn't you just play a WAR in SB? We just want SB DRK back because it was genuinely a unique tank, as opposed to a reskinned WAR.

Does DRK need to have a 10 second burst window where they use their strongest GCD five times in a row followed by a period of downtime where you use the same low powered combo for another 80 seconds just like a job that did it a previous expansion ago?

I played DRK for the feel of the kit. If all you wanna do is hold a big sword and feel cool, more power to you, I guess.
