SMN Why don't we hear about egi glamours anymore?

The glamours were brought up during the prerelease of 5.0, last I heard, so it's been about a year. They were vague, but hinted at possibly having something during 5.X. but with the pandemic I wouldn't think it's a priority at the moment.

They first promised it for 3.4 I believe.
3.4 was released in September or October 2016...

In about two months, this "promise" will have its 4th year anniversary

We...got the carby glams literally in 3.5 though. I would MUCH rather, even as a SMN main, time and money costs continue to be allocated to things making the overall gameplay experience and quality as excellent as it has been rather than a niche feature for a job that continues to see reworks and changes that make it very clear the time/cost of egi glams could be a waste depending on what happens with SMN in general.

I am with you on this one. I would also rather see them improve the job.
To be honest, I hoped that the devs would delete the egis with Shadowbringers and focus on more demi summons.
Never liked those ugly chicken nuggets.

But this isn't about that, it's about that the dev team promised to give us egi glamours and after over 3 years... nothing. And no, I don't count Carbuncles, those were already in the game. They just changed the colour for the third one.
I would rather finaly hear from them: "Yeah, sorry, not gonna happen. We changed our mind", instead of "Please keep looking forward to it."

It's been years, not months, years.... They've had years to have a dev sit down and make new egi glamours. The job has been vastly improved since carby glamours hit the stage. Egi's where apart of the game in 2013, 2017 when egi glamour came out, and 2020. Clearly they've had plenty of time to remove Egis and piss on the fan base. In fact the biggest complaint about Egi over the years hasn't been gameplay but cosmetics; feel free to do the research yourself. New Egi design would quiet 3/4 of the post regarding removing Egis.
