I like the carbuncles, but I dream of a Demi-Alexander glamour throwing Divine Judgement at my enemies.

They really should just go all in on the demis really. Make it a demi-rotation akin to bard and its songs and give said demis an aura. Like Demi-garuda gives everyone a small attack speed buff, Titan would give something like 5% damage reduction, Ifrit 5% damage boost, etc.
If we have to keep a little turret it'd just be carby pew-pewing his way to world domination.

Wasn't there a thread exactly like this, even posted in recently, by the same OP? There are other threads spanning months or years, you could've just continued that one.

I wanna have glamour for the scholar fairys:/

It's just one of many things they quietly swept under the carpet and forgot about that they had said they intended to implement during HW's lifespan, before the Hiatus of Doom.

Remove the egis and make the summons more impactful.
Finally someone gets it, it would still fulfill the same function is current Summoner but feel like a real summoner.
The current Summoner rotation doesn't feel well thought out in terms of design
At first you're using these egi turrets than then turn into bahamut and then into phoenix?
The real Final Fantasy Summoner is the one that does their own attacks for long period of time to accumulate enough "enmity" to then summon their huge summon for a big attack. The FFXI version where it's on your side only works in a slow combat system like XI's. In a fast pace environment, a big attack summon would be better.
Look
Just give us a summon gauge, you can summon your summon at any point above 10% full, depending on the % the summon's 1 time attack will hit for full damage or partial.
Easy, beautiful; elegant design. You just build that gauge by doing your arcanist poisoning rotation and add some other Summoner spells from past FFs to fill in some gaps.
Before the fight you can choose which summon you want to summon for that current battle; this allows them to let you choose a wider variety of primals since they would all do the same amount of damage. It also goes with the lore because a 1 time attack doesn't use as much aether as having an egi at your side for a 15 minute fight.

So you want summons to work like a machinists's turret/Automaton and dark knight's Living Shadow?

I guess the community is getting fed up of being ignored for years, so it’s bound to spill out into multiple threads when the one big thread doesn’t garner *any* response.
