People have links to their personal carrds, twitters, and tumblrs on their character profiles and SE has never minded. So long as you don't try to engage in RMT you're fine.

“Sometimes the mere gravity of a situation can harm a person more than a blade itself. If we can learn to wield that gravity so that it may benefit us, perhaps then the healing can begin.”

I don't think it's enforced unless someone is using the game to sell something (dunno lets say you sell pc parts and are advertising or creating transactions in the game) or if the intent is malicious such as giving someone a different person's private details with the intent to aid stalking, or you're pretending to be someone you're not.
People share private information all the time whether that's handles for social media, real names and even home addresses. I'd say as long as you're just two buddies sharing information you have nothing to worry about as far as punishment from SE goes.
I think SE "forbid it" to cover their own behind. So that they cannot be held responsible if something goes very sour as a result of players sharing such information in their game. Going back to the pc parts shop example, a player who used the game to buy those parts cannot get help from SE if it turns out to be a scam, because what they were doing was against the game rules in the first place.

Did the GM say WHY it's not allowed?
I'm not sure I understand.

Officially, likely to protect minors like the OP.
Also, its a cover move by SE for liability reasons. They've told you you are not allowed. If you do it anyway and give it to the wrong person and end up stalked or something, you can't blame SE.
EDIT: And don't get me wrong, AajaRyskaris. I think you should definitely follow the rule.
