During Yokai watch event, make fate bosses immune to Doom please

Gotta make blue mage 1:1 they say, then they go and make a load of stuff immune because it can't be 1:1. . . (along balancing certain stuff like fire angon or not making angel whisper like it's original counter parts).

I can supply the world with my salt. . One stop shop, you can see me from the opposite side of the housing ward @_@.

Counter suggestion, for the duration of this event they make them immune as a toggle and then toggle it off once the event is over. Can use the toggle for other things as necessary too, so might be helpful in general to create.

But yes Blue mage is going to make this event very comical unless they planned to make changes so "blue mage" can't abuse the Fates. If they didn't plan I hope they get notified about this.

I mean, they'd get wholloped so quickly I'd probably never get to enjoy / grind any of the fates unless I camped them.

Majorly this. I don't even spend time in ARR zones much lately, but it's still fun taking the occasional romp and stomping anything that used to be frustrating.

Or just casting a few Missiles on Gorgi/Steri so the army of adds spawn in and then abandon the FATE.

Why don't you just ask that devs remove all those spells completely while you're at it.

Party with a BLU.

Get FATE rewards. That's it.

I guess you'll see a lot parties including a BLU, someone with a regalia, and a couple new people who can't fly yet.

It wouldn't need to just be Doom. It'd have to be at least Missile, Tail Screw and Launcher too. You can solo 4-shot dungeon bosses with those spells. Get 4 blue mages and it's essentially an instant kill.

Stuff like The Ram's Voice and Surpanakha would trivialize it too, although at least those wouldn't be so bad so I don't have a problem with those as they exist.

My solution?

Only works if you're in the party that has the 4 BLU that's gettting there first.

Consider the following: The event is not 1 day

Even if BLU gets banned from OHKOing, you still have lv80's, even when synced down, doing all these at once who also have flying mounts and will mow down the bosses before newbies in their fresh preened chocobo can get there. So no matter what, day 1 is going to be a zerg rush. And after it passes, it's not like the event will just be over. The next big push will be the actual last hours before it ends.
