I would like to get rid of some of the nasty colors than ruin outfit potential on certain pieces. Like those nasty looking undyable leather colored parts, or things that don't really match any dye in the game.

I'd rather they MAKE dye to that matches things that didn't have any dye equivalent prior (like the i90 MNK gear's chartreuse hue).
but that has nothing to do with dye layers, but I will have to say this.
I'd want them to start with the Dye layering at the very beginning of an expac, then have a separate team work their way backwards to the most used glamours (and gear that shares models with said glamours). But I also want it to be optional, as some gear might look better in monochrome as opposed to having 2 or more separate colors (and as budget/QoL means for people that only want to use one pot of dye on their pieces like they do now), and in the case of Savage drops have those be the ones with dye layers while having the normal versions be Dyable but with only 1 layer

Oh we definitely need new dyes, and that reminds me of the Minfilia's Modish attire off the mogstation again. That set is actually pink and doesn't really match the white dyes. I like the outfit, but that just ruins it.I'd rather they MAKE dye to that matches things that didn't have any dye equivalent prior (like the i90 MNK gear's chartreuse hue).
