We have plenty if variety when it comes the female form with bosses. Just because a few are sexy doesn't mean they are bad.

I just want to see more monstrous female bosses... like Twintania, Tioman, Dotoli Ciloc (Ixali Beastman) and Rukshs Dheem (Queen). It's silly that male bosses can be anything they want to be (but not skimpily dressed), but female bosses are mostly humanoid.

Sony actively censors any anime looking games. For some reason they really hate it but allowed Naughty Dog to show a full blown disturbing as hell sex scene in TLOU2.

Ironically, Japan cut that scene completely out of their version of the game. And let me tell you, they are LUCKY they didn't have to witness that horrendous scene.

As uncomfortable that one scene in TLoU2 was, it was a scene with two consenting adults in a game rated for adults (R18+ in Australia and yes, it was uncensored for us).

No, they censor all japanese made fanservice for female bodies, thats why square created their ethics department so they can properly censor games before sony asks them to do expensive changes to games, but they do allow underage boy love sex scenes, life is strange has one apparently.

Devil May Cry 5 got censor with lens flares, all characters are adults in that game. After TLoU2 the double standard is undeniable.

As a female myself I really wish we would get more ugly beastly female bosses (there are some but the good looking ones are more) and at the same time more good looking male bosses without the huge mass of muscles.

iam a straight guy, born and raise with anime so sadly i actually dont mind with all that "waifu", in every game with "create your own character' i always play as female because i will try to dress them in either sexy or cool "ice queen" way (unless in a game where you can create gundam because that will be my priority one!)

all i can say is "cant satisfy everyone", i mean like it or not FF14 maybe cater toward casual player but inside these casual is still majority of man so sexism is still one of the aspect they need to do to keep the audience happy, remember this is made in japan not west (you know how japan and echi goes hand in hand in video games)

but you must give them props to actually also give some "service" toward girl too, not many mmorpg do this (and probably none?) so yeah while it still edge toward "man of culture", they still think for girls too.
