Hello. I seem to be "stuck" in what seems to be a jail?

A few days ago I cussed someone out lol. Apparently they reported me and 3 days later I found myself in jail. About 15 mins in there a GM came and explained what had happened. They gave me a 3 day ban. I could try fighting it, but no use for that since I know what I did.

So what happens next? Do I just wait 3 days and everything goes back to normal?

I noticed that I can't even log in to the lodestone ._.

Normally i'm not a toxic person, but I was mad at that person who I insulted that day.

In the future, you may want to exercise caution when venting your frustration with someone. Not because "weh I got reported because I said a mean word :c" but because past a certain point it gets to be too much. And sometimes in the moment it can be difficult to see where that line is. I've gotten pretty mad at people in the past as well, but refrained from using language too strong or anything that could be considered harassment to avoid exactly what happened to you.

Honestly, a lot of people just aren't worth yelling at anyway. They're always going to be the kind of person that gets cussed out anyway, and no amount of scolding or insulting will stop them. Usually it's best to say your piece without pushing the limits on what's safe to say and then just let them make a fool of themselves on their own. As well, if they happen to take it even further and they go beyond what's allowed, if you were to report them you'd be in a safer position for when a GM checks the logs to investigate what happened.

It's important to know what you can and can't get away with, and make sure you never cross that line.

I had the same experience. I got into an argument with someone and had some choice words. I got banned. I apologized to the GM but otherwise just waited it out and had no issues. Be aware this strike on your account will never be removed. If you do it again the punishment could be much worse.
