Certain textures and foliage becomes more colorful or darkens while in motion.

When i pan my camera or move my character certain foliage and textures in game will darken and the colors on them become more distinct.

I have tried changing aliasing and motion blur and it does not solve the issue. I have tried changing all settings in game and in my gpu programs around and nothing effects the issue. I have this issue on both of my machines. Below i will link a video of the issue showing trees darkening as i pan the camera as well as specs from my machines. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    VIDEO: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T33...ew?usp=sharing
(if you look carefully at the tree's while i pan the camera you can see they will darken and become more colorful)

    First machine: ryzen 7 2700X
    16gb dual channel ram
    RTX 2060 SUPER
    1tb nvme storage

    Second machine: ryzen 3 2200G
    16gb dual channel ram
    RX 580
    240gb ssd

EDIT: I would also like to note that while trouble shooting i noticed the issue does not appear in a in game video capture. I can only show the effect physically on my monitor, thus the reason for the poor quality phone capture.

So I'm at the same spot you are and those trees don't have any bloom effect for me.
I changed my graphics settings to max and still nothing. I half expected something from changing settings to either max or laptop but I have nothing at all. I manually changed just the Glare setting in system config, as that's what gives my axe a similar bloom, and I can't find those trees doing anything at all.

    Could it be your display?
As in whatever monitor you're using might be the cause.

I think it would be unlikely to be my display as i have 2 different pc's with completely different monitors both showing the same issue, one machine is a amd machine running a 580 and the other is a nvidia machine running a 2060 super. one monitor is an AOC 1440p monitor and the other is a sceptre 1080p ultrawide, however if you want more details on the monitors i can link them to you via the amazon links. All i know is its a weird issue that im having on both my systems and only for ffxiv. Other games don't seem to have this issue.

Possibly a form of ghosting or pixel overshoot, which isn't that uncommon on VA type panels (which both of those displays are). I would try playing around with different response times or refresh rates to see if it improves. There's a website called TestUFO that offers a number of display tests that might be able to help you troubleshoot the issue.

I know what ghosting is but i didn't know that it also causes foliage to darken in color. I have overdrive on light which causes slight reverse ghosting, but if i turn it off then i have pretty bad normal ghosting. Also i am very certain ive had this same foliage issue in the past when i hooked my pc upto a friends tv which was not a va panel so i am not quite sure if this is really the cause. I could be wrong however so i will check it out some.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I too use an AOC monitor (CQ27g2g4) and have this issue. I do notice that disabling HDR on the monitor improves it quite a bit, but not entirely.
