It can make gearing easier in a lot of cases because you just buy NPC gear that outlevels the MSQ and get synced down to maximum stats.
When I leveled there was no Road buff but I ended up ignoring side quests because of roulettes, not primarily because of the XP but because dungeons were more fun than anything else. Side quests should stand on their own merit I feel. If people only care to do them for XP, are they even adding anything to the game?2) Lots of content is skipped. Doing all content on-level adds quite a bit to the understanding of the world.
Some will, some won't. It's pretty common advice in the novice network.3) Player uses multiple jobs to distribute the XP among to avoid overleveling. New players won't know how or when to do this.
I know this is the common opinion but it's kind of narrow. People can play how they want. And rushing past the leveling phase is still playing. Low levels are overly simply and boring to many new players. It's no wonder some of them want to get past it.There is no rush to reach max-level. The journey there is 98% of the game. Why people are in a hurry to not play the game escapes me. Might as well add an "I win!" button that takes you directly to the end credits.
