A wonderful FFXIV experience tonight.

Just a little story that happened tonight that really made my night.

Crafting inside the adventurers guild I saw from the side of my eye Kipih (from the Raven Newspaper) run past me and head outside. Not thinking twice I stood and ran after her to see what was all the fuss.

Well, after calling some DoW friends over to chat, and speaking at lenght about the wandering minstrel that had appeared recently, I coaxed her to go outside Uldah to show off our new Gobbue mounts! (under the pretext that we would protect her if things went sour)

Would you believe it, she actually walked outside town with us to see our new mounts, and even lined up for some photos. (Poses included)



Honestly, I never though she would actually leave town with me.

Completely unscripted visits by GM in character like this is awesome. I hope they continue to do things like leave town, perhaps appear elsewhere in the world, do things like fight or heal, maybe summon things?

Anyway, because it was so unexpected that she would leave town to see our mounts, we were having a blast.

Whoever the GM controlling Kipih was did an amazing job thinking on the fly and stepping outside anything I've seen a GM do. Kudos to you GM!

I hope something like that happens to me someday. That's the cool aspect about paying now while we're in the "LIVE" part of the path to V 2.0.

That is easy... negativity seems to be the greatest thing on these forums to the point most of these humans can only spout it.

I thought it was really cool that they did that and followed you outside to see the mounts ^^
