The DPS you've run with are not hitting buttons then. Healer AoE attacks have the same (if not steeper) damage fall off as DPS AoE attacks, while simultaneously doing less damage overall. It's why when you were detailing your little plan you said you would watch the enmity list to make sure not lose ground to the DPS and not the healer. Heals generate aggro, yes. Specifically at a 0.5x modifier per hit point restored compared to 1.0x modifier for damage dealt. Your DPS should be generating far more enmity than the healer easily.

Of course, for your plan to even have a ghost of a chance, you would have to slow your own dps as a tank immensely as, all tank stances currently apply a 10x enmity modifier to all weaponskills abilities you execute (including your self heals and cooldowns) which wouldn't really be prudent to killing the pack before everyone runs out of buffs and resources, and other players actually can physically see you single targeting for some unknown reason or flat out not moving.
