I can think of three Au Ra right now who are roaming - or used to roam - Eorzea (Yugiri, Princess Yuki and Sidurgu) and I am only aware of one Viera (Sophie). I might be missing some, but it cant be an aweful lot. So the chances of an average Mi'qote encountering either of those races is pretty slim - and vice versa, with Mi'qote sticking to Eorzea only.
And even if we can only speculate in regards to the possibilty of Au ra and Viera meeting, I'd go with pretty slim aswell, given how secluded both of those races live for the most part.

So, generally speaking I dont think Viera as a whole group would have any opinions on Mi'qote - simply because they dont know that they exist in the first place.

In regards to Mi'qote the first lorebook states that living in cities must seem weird to them, because its so different from their own hunting culture (something both clans are extremly proud off), so I wouldnt be surprised if the Xaela and Viera way of living would earn their respect and understanding - would they ever happen to learn about it in the first place.
You know what... I'll be honest. I was thinking about this from the PC's pov. I didn't even think about lore wise. And damn you're right, lore wise they would hardly if ever meet to form any kind of opinions. With that said though, how do you feel about them? Should they be more animal like? Should they have more emotes with their tails or ears in the case of Viera? Or should they remain pretty much anime people with anime animal ears? I kindof wish we got more random stuff ingame.. like their sleeping habits or whatnot. I dunno why but I'm digging myself a huge rabbit hole with this train of thought.

To speak from the WoL point of view, I dare say that our character has seen stranger things than Au Ra and Viera... and you can obviously roleplay as a Mi'qote who thinks that Viera and Au Ra are beneath them (not saying you do, just that you could)!

I'd also have this vague collection of reading somewhere that Mi'qote (lorewise) arent to fond off being associated to cats, but I just cant find it - so that might be some fanfic-canon type of think (but anyone can point me to the official source that I might got this from, I'd be glad!).
Either way, I would assume that the races dont think of themselves as "humans with animal parts"...

Personally - and this is very personal opinion, but you seem to ask for it - I dont care much for any of those races. I'm a fan of a certain very cute Mi'qote emote (/grovel) that has a very cute animation for female Mi'qote and I can understand the wish for better ear/tail animations.
But even that wouldnt change the fact that Mi'qote and Au Ra arent for me personally - they're to cute for my taste (...that sounds weird, sorry!). Viera might have had a chance if they'd been there at release, but I've found my ideal character with my FemRoe. I'd imagine that the whole lack of tail/ear-animation is much more noticeable if you see them (or not see them, I guess) on your character everyday, but since I've never experience that and dont ever plan to, I'll take the very personal and ignorant stance of saying: I dont care. I understand why others might, though.

So, I guess... I dont really feel about them at all? /shrug
I was mainly trying to answer a lore-questions - that something I care more about than animations of races I have no intend of playing, sorry!

Why are you sorry, Both answers are great. I'm not a karen All jokes aside, I didn't know the lore even went into that much detail, it's hard to view miqo's and Vieras as rare when we're all over the place. Though you made me think about something else... but I'll leave that for another day.

Sorry for the necro (is this already considered a necro?), but I'm kinda excited that I found the bit of lore I was thinking about! ...to give fair credit: I asked my partner and he rememberd...

Anyways! The description of the Fat Cat minion states the following: "Despite convincing research by top academics from around the realm and beyond, most Miqo'te scholars refuse to believe that there may be some ancestral connection between their race and cats (fat or not)."
While these descriptions are always supposed to be a bit funny and need to be taken with a grain of salt, it does seem to imply that Mi'qote rather not think of themselves as cats or having any strong relation to those animals.
