Whateeeeeeeever you say.You're taking issue with me saying it's a net gain 1% of the time, right? I agree that was probably far too generous, but saying 1% is easier than getting into fractions of a fraction of a percent.
In good groups rescue isn't necessary. In bad groups full of well intended people it's almost always used wrong, and causes more problems. It's a useless skill; if you see it used in a group it's almost always because the healer is bored, and while I'm sure it's fun for them it's not fun for the people they use it on. There's absolutely no reason for it to stay as it is.
I'd still suggest taking the advice of either picking up a healer or finding a teammate who plays healer, so then maybe those made up statistics in your head will slightly be better.
