Just had a particularly bad run of Orbonne.
We had three new people, one of them was a healer.
So much death on the first boss. I as a RDM pretty much had to use Lucid Dreaming and Verraise on cooldown. Because there were so many deaths, the boss ended up using Analysis three times. Never seen that before.
The rest of the run I also had to use Lucid Dreaming on cooldown because both healers, our BRD (they had a name that poked fun at the fact that they died frequently, haha), and our SMN kept dying to almost every mechanic. My poor MP was struggling to keep up the whole run. The other alliances kept teasing my group because of it. Fortunately, the other groups were also pitching in to keep up with the rezzes on us.
Second boss was a struggle, but we managed to kill it without too much difficulty.
Thunder God was a mess. Healers didn't know about the one attack he does where he cuts your HP down to one and you have to heal everyone back to full (forget the name). So we lost people to that the first time. Constant vulnerability stacks on everyone. People not standing in the glowy circles. Ice add blew up because half our group wasn't attacking it. Fortunately we got it down though.
Last boss was surprisingly smooth for once. Once the last boss was down though, we of course had to wait for the full duration of the loot timer because someone didn't roll. Ugh.
Bolted out of there as fast as I could. Ended up with three commendations.
