ie What if Male Viera have boobs and a female body type, and Female Hrothgar are just as manly as the Men? What if it's up to the players to just roleplay the males and females of these races? ;p

It could be okay if we didn't have genderlocked clothes, hairstyles and also clothes that have one "file" but two "models" depending on the gender (like last crafted set for instance). Well, the note about hair isn't exactly important in this case since new races still can't use any unlockable haircuts, but anyway. Even if somebody do their roleplay as opposite gender with currently existing models (and I'm quite sure there are players who does exactly this), they are heavily limited in some aspects of glamour.

And even the clothes that aren't gender locked might as well be in some respects. Think about items like the Whisperfine Woolen Shorts. It's actually shorts on a male toon, but it's a skirt on female. The Pagos Culottes (and all other items that share that model) are knee-length puffy shorts on men, but are booty shorts and stockings on women. Then you've got this latest 24-man raid and almost every item of clothing changes its appearance based on the sex of your character.

I wouldn't be completely opposed to them leaving the character models more or less the same if they were put in, but I would want to have my character flagged as male so I can actually wear things like pants... and so my titles aren't all "lady" and NPCs don't refer to me with female pronouns.
