    Whichever one you prefer.
    But seriously though...

    Playstyle differences:
When playing alongside a White Mage, Astrologian and Scholar's playstyles are different.
AST tends to be the first priority (other than Assize, which is top priority) when it comes to healing, as their oGCDs have 0 cost to use.
SCH is the last priority, as weaving and aetherflow skills cost more damage than any other job.

    SCH Pros:
More Mitigation - Fey Illumination and Sacred Soil versus only Collective Unconcious.
More frequent heals - Aetherflow heals have short cooldowns in comparison to SCH and AST's timer-only heals.
Lower Skill Floor - Movement is as easy as Ruin2 for a full GCD of free movement, and Chain Strategem is just a single button press on the boss.
Lower MP usage - This is more of an AST con, but I'll put it here as well. SCH can typically avoid MP-costing skills with their frequent Aetherflow tools.

    SCH Cons:
Lower Damage - Literally every Pro of SCH comes at the cost of a 150p Energy Drain, or 80p loss from Ruin2 instead of Broil.
Weaker Individual Heals - SCH has more frequent heals, but they are often weaker than the equivelant AST heal.
Clunky Fairy - Eos/Selene and Seraph take time to execute multiple orders in a row.

    AST Pros:
Damage damage damage - AST's cards and Divination provide more damage than SCH's Chain Strategem.
Mobility - 1.5s malefic gives you a solid amount of movement every GCD, and you get Lightspeed every 90s too.
No-cost oGCDs - Since AST has a weave slot every GCD, you don't lose damage while doing the vast majority of your healing.
Earthly Star - The best oGCD heal in the game. 720 potency with flexible detonation.
Stronger GCDs - Synastry and Neutral sect, along with Asp. Benefic & Helios' higher potencies, give AST the clearcut strongest GCD heals of all the healers, as well as the lowest cost (250p vs 280 or 300)

    AST Cons:
Fight knowlege required - AST relies most on knowing where damage is coming out in the fight. This isn't a massive issue as you'll tend to get an idea for this during progression
Card Difficulty - It requires a lot of job knowlegde to get the most out of cards, as well as difficulties with quickly targetting teammates before switching back to keep Maleficing the boss
MP troubles - AST suffers most of all the healers as their only mana tools are Lightspeed and Lucid dreaming. Too many healing GCDs used, or Raises, or a Death, will tend to spell doom for your MP while SCH can manage it.

    Conclusion:
    It's personal preference lmao.
    (my choice is AST)

I think YusiKha covered the playstyle differences pretty well. If you care about "meta" then every healer composition wants an AST. WHM+SCH's the most significantly behind, whereas AST+WHM/SCH perform very well and almost identically. That said, WHM+SCH can still easily clear all the fights if that's what you prefer to play, and I do recommend not forcing AST if you don't enjoy it.

But as you say you do enoy them both, then, AST is hands down the more optimized healer. If you were to swap out a healer, you would ideally want to swap WHM for SCH, definitely not AST for SCH.

But lastly, if you do pick AST, I firmly recommend you do not run a low piety build.

Is this your first time stepping into Savage? A brief look at your logs and lodestone profile suggest this is the case. If so, I would suggest SCH. You've got a steep learning curve ahead of you and it'll be easier to adjust to with SCH than AST.

I'd also recommend SCH if you're on controller. Sleeve Draw is cancer on a keyboard. I can't imagine how much worse it is on controller.

Definitely this. I tried a 400 piety build on E8S a couple weeks back and it was was really spooky. ~850 is comfortable as long as you don't need more than one raise per fight. ~1300 is what I used for prog. SCH can get away with far less piety. Each energy drain per minute is worth around 550 piety.

well its not my first step in Savage and my piety arround 1500. Energy drain on SCH is waste of heal and only for emergency (i have nearly zero mana probs beside the fact the group decide to die much), i have only few logs where i am in bcause: i dont upload stuff and yes i am on keyboard and i have a 12 button mouse ^^ i have no problems with cards. i can play both good and i just asked bcause i want to know whats a better partner for the white. we did pretty good so much bcause my shields saved healtime for the white so he could do dmg but i am missing the dmg boost from my AST (well the crit is not but but crit is still just a chance and pure dmg boost is..well pure dmg ^^)

If you're fine with both of them, AST would be the better choice, hands down.

AST has strong and frequent oGCD heals, free weaving slots, good mobility, lower personal dps, relies on planning ahead and is prone to MP problems while WHM is pretty much the opposite.
Because of their different playstyle, strengths and respective "rhythm" they pair really well.

While the additional mitigation and shields on demand from SCH are nice, they are not mandatory and come at too high an opportunity cost anyway to use regulary. You lose a Broil cast to Ruin 2 for weaving AND an AF stack you could've used for Energy Drain to Sacred Soil. You are more restricted when it comes to munching your fairy if you rely on fairy skills at specific times. Seraph shielding requires two weaving slots etc. Succor costs a bunch of MP and a GCD for very little gain.
AST on the other hand can take care of most of the healing without dps loss and get a lot of value out of one GCD (like Neutral Asp. Helios + Horoscope) to make it worth the dps loss and fill gaps until times when it's little to no dps loss for the WHM to heal. They require planning ahead but if you miscalculated you have a strong burst healer at your side to take care of emergencies. And you can safely rely on WHM to take care of ress even if they're running a low piety build.
AST and WHM complement each other, SCH and WHM not so much.
The only downside to AST is that you really need to coordinate with your raid. Star placement, limited range of Divination, limited range and tight timing for CU and coordinating cards with burst windows of your dps are all things a SCH doesn't have to worry about. A SCH mostly only needs to worry about himself (and his fairy with the reaction time of a snail) and not so much about what others are doing.

The real answer is whichever you like most. There's little difference. AST is the superior healer, does more damage than the other two so that would be an obvious choice but that really only matters if you're consistently hitting enrage.

Furthermore, unless you're parsing 90%+ a bit of optimization will generate more dps than switching classes. Making the question of the class even less important.
