I hope Square and Capcom team up for another FFXIV x MHW collab mostly because I want the warrior AF gear and Bravura axe for hammers in MHW. There's been mods of it on PC and damn it I want it to be official. The warrior's buckler gauntlet is already perfect place to hide a slinger!



Zinogre would be a cool mount in FFXIV too.

Unfortunately, SE adding the Manderville Earrings and the White Ravens in the Rising resulted in SE copping a massive backlash from irate 1.0 players furious that special 1.0 gear given as achievements for completing the never-to-be-repeated late 1.0 content, was being given away freely in a seasonal event (seriously, the thread here on this forum about it devolved into an absolute train wreck). It got so bad that SE probably will never again bring back old 1.0 gear in such an event, let alone that version of the Rising.

You're probably more likely to see replicas of them added, but not the real thing I'm afraid.

The replica earrings are already on the mog station. Funny how that landed without so much as a peep from the legacy community....

There was also an aknowledgement that the other staff would not be happy wanting new weapons though in that post (probably due to more work on their side having to actually model them). And as the only time a past event that has returned added new gear was the DQX event added a new hat that was not class specific (the Slime Hat), I wouldn't hold out hope seeing weapons for individual new Jobs added if the Yo-Kai Watch event does return (after all, we never got new weapons for later classes and Jobs when the FFXIII event was rerun either).

Basically, don't hold your breath.

Yeah, we haven't had any update on it since then.

We've also been in the middle of a global pandemic which has severely delayed a lot of things, so hold your horses, they'll get to it when they can.
