Thanks to the healers here: SCH deleted, cards removed, Benefic I, Cure 1 removed, Dia removed, Combust removed, Holy potency increased, Gravity potency increased, Regen and Aspected Benefic gets even shorter duration, tier 2 heal spells potency increase but their cast time increased, Nocturnal Sect removed, Celestial Intersection: Diurnal Shield is removed, Neutral Sect removed and replaced with Celestial Opposition, Earthly Star is damage only now, no heals, also Great Dominance potency increased. No new skills added, no new healer. Healer forums blows up with new complaints.
Fight me.
Im counting on it. Really we are hoping for complete reworks with jobs like Monk and Bard and quality of life changes like all tanks having AOE combo and gap closers before lvl 50.
Not to mention the overhaul of healers....again
Yeah, they'll always add new skills. But it would be awesome if they stop removing old skills in order to add new ones.
When i see aLalafellcharacter wearing a cute glam
It would be awesome if they UNPRUNED HEALERS AND STOPPED DUMBING DOWN THE GAME BY REMOVING SYSTEMS WILLY NILLY.
They need to remove skills in order to keep you from having too many buttons, though. This was an issue they noticed from the Heavensward to Stormblood transition that they just didn't want players to have to deal with that many.
I would hope at this point that more of what we get are traits that improve existing skills rather than make the low level toolkit even more barren than it currently is.
I mean, since 2.0 I usually have everything capped before the next expansion came out and let me tell you, the hair pulling and wasting time and retraining myself buttons when they chuck out so many skills or rework things....
...so yeah, I fully expect a day or two of my life to be wasted come 6.0 making sense of my skill bars again.
I really hope we just get upgrades and not just a bunch of new things added. I play on controller and I'm already hurting for room.
'Heavensward button bloat' was a myth. All the consistent expansion re-works have done with FFXIV is dumb down classes and remove systems, like TP, aggro management via shirk before just ripping out the concept of stances entirely, cleric stance - which was divisive - and many, many other we've regrettably lost as time has gone on.They need to remove skills in order to keep you from having too many buttons, though. Most tanks are happy with the loss of tank/dps stances.'Heavensward button bloat' was a myth. All you ever did was put tank stance on until you had an aggro lead, then switch back to dps stance.
And I don't know the consensus on TP, but I haven't seen anyone say they miss it yet.
Protect, in the form it was in, had to go.
I'd have preferred if WHM's got it back in place of Divine Benison personally, but either way, a 30 minute buff that is just expected to always be up is the epitome of redundant.
