

a big part of why wow is so successful is because any computer can run it. i know people playing it on outta box $300 acer pc's.No one wants this game to be like WoW. They just don't want it to be old school XI either.
Besides, not having things in this game just because they're in WoW would be a guaranteed failure. XIV doesn't need to be a WoW clone but borrowing ideas couldn't hurt.
I mean, WoW peaked at what -- 15 million subscribers? Currently about 11 million. XI peaked at 500,000. XIV should be XIV but the devs shouldn't hesitate to borrow what works from other games. Obviously WoW just had more of "what worked."
