How does dungeon loot work?

Specific bosses drop the various pieces depending on which slot it's for. I know bodies and legs drop specifically from Aiatar at the end, for example (these armor pieces tend to carry the most "weight" stat wise, which is why they also tend to cost the most tomestones, just short of weapons)

So depending on what you want exactly, you may not need to run the entire dungeon.

There are two ways to avoid queves, but 1 is doing it with undersized party and with no level sync (work even if you have 4 people), and the other is a GC thing that might not be available to new players. Unless you got some high level friends helping you, you likely won't need the gear for the stats by the time either becomes viable.
