For The Love Of God Please Add Skip Cut Scene To The Story Dungeons

Here's the thing: Square has made this a part of our daily rotation in leveling character. We didn't do that - they did. They pushed players away from fate grinding; they made these long, story-based instances the cornerstone of our grind.

So, like it or not, there are a ton of veterans in these dungeons, at all hours of the day, every day of the year. There are people who have seen these cutscenes play out hundreds - if not thousands - of times. And they are entitled to be a little tired of it.

And the response shouldn't be "WELL HUR HUR HUR, WHAT ABOUT THE NEWBS?!" Watch the damned thing on Youtube if you're so desperate for 20 minutes of scripted dialogue, half of which isn't even spoken.

Square didn’t make it anything. The player base did. SE offered an exp bonus to players that have completed the content to run it again for those that have not. The xp reward is what is because you have to watch the cutscenes. The roulette exists to help new players. When that is no longer needed the roulette will go the way of the dinosaurs and with it the xp. If you like the massive xp boost you need to sit back and enjoy, it didn’t always give this amount.

It's like something in people's brains clicks off and they just... don't think of this. Ever. And then if given meager rewards as one would when being lv70+ running a lv50 instance, WhERes My ReWaRds???

That will be after the allow skipping again...and reduce the rewards by 80%(at the bare minimum).

Having an option like Ready Check that allowed the party to skip cut scenes if ALL members of the party agreed.
Not a perfect solution... but it would be something.

And as stated above. You would not get the rewards. Because you are nullifying the point of it.

Just finished Castrum Meridianum and doing The Praetorium right now. All locked in cutscenes.

only 2 dungeons out of all the 8 man's in the MSQ that have locked cutscenes regardless if it is roulette or queued up via regular DF. Seriously, the locked cutscenes was a result of people simply completing the dungeon before a new person had a chance to experience the dungeon. SE Locked them and increased the XP for MSQ roulette which I am fine with. If you are farming mogtomes which you may be doing I dunno, you are better off just queuing up AV or Rival Wings in that case. If its for XP, quicker ways to get xp than MSQ roulette, its just with more effort.

Besides, MSQ gives the same XP average as ~4 PoTD/HoH runs for about the same time or less, and 50 tomes is nothing when Expert roulette gives you 90. 10 Moogle tomestones? you can queue for any dungeon between lv 35-50, Ivalice raids, or do PvP. There's...really no excuse to feel forced to do MSQ roulette at all, like, ever.

I spam PVP for moogle tomes, 15 minute matches with no wait time for 5, vs DPS queues for an hour of cutscenes for 10.

I see it as an excellent daily bonus, not something to be run repeatedly.
