Squadron changes I'd like to see going foward.

Well there are the workout emotes. You can get some MGP and also buffs that are equivalent to some FC actions.

Except the few emotes that's nothing worth doing them, especial if you already have a capped char that doesn't need any buffs anymore. Also most times the Buffs you need are already active from the FC and for MGP i prefer playing the real Goldsaucer stuff instead of dungeons. No matter how you look at it there Squadrons need to have more things and rewards that are worth you time. One of many options could be crafting mats for example, giving players an alternative source to get some mats or give them Moggle and Tomestone rewards equal to the Duty finder or even a bit more since it takes longer and is a bit harder than with real players.

The squadron buffs are the equivalent of Tier III FC buffs which most guilds don't bother with since they're too expensive or too much trouble. At best you'll have two Tier II buffs running and if they aren't running the buff(s) you want you're SOL unless you've got the handy squadron buff scripts.

I was wondering why the Aethyrite passes have a bigger discount then the FC buffs (when they're active at least).

BTW do the relevant squadron/FC buffs affect the payout from MGP vouchers as well?

You realize that some of the buffs do stack? like the xp from squadron can be stacked with the fc xp buff for example. pretty sure mgp buffs stack as well. I especially love the durability buff you can get as well especially with the constant farm sessions for tomes going on right now.

They're not expensive. More like it's annoying process for something that can't be used on a consistent basis. I would only call them too much trouble if the goal is to have them active daily because that requires an exploit of the housing system.

Your FC must have a FC house (many don't). There must be a Level 6 Aetherial Wheel Stand placed in the house. Then it takes 71 hours to charge a single Grade 3 wheel and you can only charge one at a time. The primed wheels can't be stored in the FC chest or traded. You either have to add them to the inactive FC actions or keep them stored on the character that removes them from the stand.

You'd need to get the FC to agree on which buffs should be Grade 3 and which days of the week they should be used.

Pretty annoying. It's a shame that SE doesn't add the Grade 3 actions to the GC vendor so even FCs without a house can have access.

It doesn't affect payout from vouchers or the challenge log. It only affects the payout for playing the games.

Squadron manual buffs do not stack with FC action buffs. Just checking the bonus % listed next to the reward will confirm that. Our FC runs Jackpot II (10%) every Saturday to coincide with the cactpot drawing. I always use my Squadron manual (15%). I still only get a 15% bonus from the manual, not 25% from Jackpot II plus manual.

What Squadron manuals will stack with is personal consumables that give a similar effect. The crafting and gathering manuals will stack with the manuals you get as quest rewards or buy with scrip/GC seals, the spiritbonding manual will stack with spiritbonding potions, etc.

I'm not saying it's great, just that there is stuff that isn't just for the squadrons. I agree, after the emotes it's kinda blah. The tombstones you get from the duty finder I believe are meant to be incentives to play with other people.

Squadrons need work but I'm doubting they'll get it. Squadrons seem to have more to offer than Trusts. Is there more to the trust system than just leveling them up? I've only done one dungeon with them. They make sense as an alternative in Shadowbringers considering the story situation. Seem there is more to do with Squadrons, but even that got boring. At least you can dress them up and use the Glamour Dresser and Armoire, unlike the deliveries people.
