You guys know the addon is already out half a year before the virus?!
They rushed the few hat adjustments for the new races, which they were proud on doing it before release, some have legit a big space between head and hat, or clip unnecessarily.
I feel like this addon didnt bring much new to the table; if you don't like bluemage or crafting/gathering or hardcore content savage/ultimate then rip. We are now in the middle of the addon cycle already, we wont get a new potd/hoh iteration either, relic quest didn't really begin yet..
I think the request is legit to ask for more hairstyles or adjustments to polishment. You can't excuse everything on the virus, they are still a company and they try to get used to homeoffice envrionment etc. It is not like we accept them to do nothing for a half a year. And they usually already work on stuff that is past the next patch, Im pretty sure 5.3 was already almost finished by 5.2 or 5.25 and just testing and fixing small things is happening really, or preparing stuff for live letter to show it all off.

No one is saying that it's unreasonable to want that bit of content fixed. You'll find most people are just as irritated by it, virus or not virus. We're saying it's unreasonable to get upset it's not out right now because of the pandemic and how it's affected Japan, and Tokyo primarily. Likewise saying 'work from home' doesn't cut it in this regard, particularly since this involves the art department. This isn't a fix where they can just tell their employees to go home and work on their rigs or laptops and render/work on the models from there as many laptops and even home desktops lack the required processing power unless they're specifically built for it. (And hey some of the art department might have them at home! It's very likely however most rely on their work desktop for it however.) To say nothing of the huge tablet displays many 3D artists use for their work. The story department is likely fine, as are the sales and accounting people, and maybe some of the programmers depending on what they're assigned to. But for this particular situation the art department is SOL because there really is no way to work entirely from home unless they have the tech there already. Especially since no company would willingly allow more than a few employees take thousands of dollars worth of equipment home en masse. You guys know the addon is already out half a year before the virus?!

No one is saying you can't be frustrated. We're saying to be patient and wait with the rest of us who were also frustrated before this all happened but understand the circumstances behind the current drought.

We already knew the races weren't getting this or that, mainly head piece variation. Months before release.
While I completely agree now is probably the worst time to ask about it, I think we can all be honest with each other and say it's never been a good time to ask for it here on the forums. From the very first grumblings about it people have acted like Viera and Hrothgar players (mostly Viera though, as Hrothgar were kind of a surprise) held the dev team at gun point to release these races and should just shut up and be happy we got them at all. Along with general ridicule and the male Viera supporters sobbing right around the corner because "at least you got the race and gender you wanted, be happy" every excuse and reason has been thrown around why nobody should ask about it anymore. No one is saying that it's unreasonable to want that bit of content fixed. That said, they did somewhat address it in the art stream they did a while ago so it is happening. Not surprising everything has been delayed with everything that's going on at the moment so it's best to settle into a 'we'll get it when we get it'-mentality. Or Fantasia if it really bothers some people.
I'm going to chop it off to either the poster is young and doesn't understand the value of empathy yet, or is hard-pressed to tick people off and knows the topic that just might accomplish that task.
The fallacy of "well, everybody dies so what" over terrifying situations such as the current one is the kind of argument I would expect from a child.
Yes. Everybody dies. No shit, but to downplay death and shrug it off as "eh" is downright disrespectful to the people who lost their loved ones and friends during this crisis.

I love my Viera alts. So happy we have them. One has to hope we'll get something new in 5.3. Seems the live letter is delayed so maybe we'll hear something when they finally announce a date for it and talk about the content that's coming.
