For The Love Of God Please Add Skip Cut Scene To The Story Dungeons

We used to be able to skip the cutscenes in the 8 man story duties but people who chose to sit there and watch them all started crying because the people not watching them would clear the duty in the time it took to watch all the cutscenes.

So SE chose to appease the noisy minority and force everyone to watch them regardless and the amount of people actually queuing for them dropped considerably. The queue time for it was quite bad the last time I recall queuing for it. However that was a number of months ago.

The less people who have alt classes to level will stop doing it entirely, as there is no point. I cannot believe there are people who do it solely for the daily reward as it stands. I'd make a guess that the queue times are probably worse now than before, but I suppose some returners could be doing it.

Laughable that MSQ roulette is even a thing other than for leveling, it's nearly a walking simulator instance. The majority of time I am in a MSQ roulette I am not even tabbed into the game. Literally on my desktop doing something else, AFK, or playing something else at the same time. I'd have to agree with some others around here to just make them solo instances.

The "noisy minority" are new players who want to actually experience the goddamn climax of the story. How dare they, right?
You realize that roulettes in general exist so newer players can run older content right? They don't just exist to make you play stuff you've already done. Games without this system tend to be tough to get parties together for older content, because newer players have little incentive to keep running them.

In regards to MSQ roulette, you have a choice. Either you run it, with all the waiting that it entails, and get the nice rewards, or you decide the wait isn't worth it and don't run it. It's not that hard, you don't gotta complete every single roulette every day.

All the Scions are assigned to different parts of the operation and have an established location to be - which is elsewhere while you lead your elite squadron of adventurers into the castrum. That makes it hard to turn them into trusts for that instance.

To be fair they could just give us random GC members as trusts for that. An healing focused ACN + WAR from Limsa, an ARC + CNJ from Gridania, a THM and GLD from Ul'dah. With any other class floating between depending on what people queue as. You are technically leading people to assault the proverbial keep, it doesn't need to be the Scions. And because it isn't the Scions it'd explain why the game doesn't reuse the Trust system again with them until ShB.

Hypothetically speaking this could be used to preview the Squadron system and some of the folk you might recruit there.

In fact (I'm assuming it isn't) if the Squadron system was available during 1-50 then that could be used for those dungeons.

I kinda just realized, considering the cutscene right after Prae ends has us running for our lives and barely getting out of the explosion range, it imply whoever was with us in the dungeon died.

The weird part is that the whole party is there until the fight with Lahabrea, implying that he killed them. In that sad excuse for a boss fight.

I mean, the real reason is so that the game wouldn't have to store the appearances of whoever ran the dungeon with you for all of the escape cutscenes after the instance ends, but.

It was new players not getting to experience the game as it was designed, hence they changed it. If veterans hadn’t behaved abusively, at times, to new players the current situation would be here. Of course the amount so granted wouldn’t be the same either. So there is that. The solution is very simple. Don’t run the MSQ rouletteif you don’t want to watch the cutscenes.

I've been running Praetorium for mog tomes; I just have a show on Netflix I watching during those cutscenes.
