Separation from Weapons [Weapon Saga Discussion]

Well, when they fuse to the core in the XIV storyline, they get drained of all their aether and die horribly. Cid's working on a way to save the pilots, but it's likely that we won't save many of them. My money would be on trying to save them and failing for various reasons. Either they know we're going to stop the fusion, so they self detonate or we don't stop the fusion in time. Remaining girl Au Ra will probably not be in a mech, though if she is, it'll be after she incapacitated her brother to keep him safe.

This is why this part of Brave Exvius storyline interested me with this Weapon Saga Story. The process is exactly the same with what happened to Physalis as the Ultima Weapon completely absorbed her body thus it killed her physically and her mind was now part of Ultima Weapon. Only reason why Physalis got her body back and separate from the weapon was because of the Tears of Provenance potion restoring her body to the original state before being absorbed and without it she would have ended up just like Gaius' kid.

Still, the forced separation of Physalis from the core did have the effect of the Ultima Weapon going completely berserk so if something similar did happen in Weapon Saga I expect this similar result with one of the weapons going completely berserk mode for a final phase of a trial after probably Gaius appears during a Instant Action phase and save his kid thus the final phase is a massive deformed mix of all previous Weapon's Core fights which we know Ruby Core to be Nael and then the 2 upcoming Weapons as well before the final Weapon in 5.5

Well another difference to consider is that Nael's persona/mind erased the pilot's completely. It's should be more complicated to save the pilots in XIV.
