    Tank OS cds

    So not to down play all the tank cds or say they’re bad just wondering if people care for my ideas is all but small tweaks that I think would be cool or even change the game in a whole so here is my brainstorm or how to make your tank OS button unique and maybe even more epic

    Dark knight : Living Dead
    Pretty much. This is the worst of the bunch and in some ways the best no my pitch for this would be when drk drops to living dead instead of a guaranteed dead after the 6 sec dur how about during that duration you heal to dmg and die to heals Now you could be wondering how would that work when the healer if is in spam mode but as long as he’s in living dead he can’t die with 10s dur so the healer will notice at some point but that is also the point of getting hit more though I would allow drk to heal him self that would be just cruel to die by your own hands

    Gunbreaker : Super B
    Simple and ez it’s actually really good of a OS button cause it tell the healer to heal now but I do feel this is kinda cruel in a way too excluding LD’s way of going the would being the second more cruel OS button my simple fix is a 15 - 20% heal increase just to help when you Benni too early though I have another idea this seems the more realistic

    Paladin: holo
    Another ez probably out of all the tanks pld and GB are the most solid just bring back the normal activation no more this delay crap but only if the other worked the way I offer or better I’m not advocating pld to be more amazing then it already is unless you bring up the other

    Warrior : holm
    Now for my more enjoyable varied OS very simple and kinda compliments the class concept and the fact that it has the lowest cd time compared to the other a simple answer to a simple tank buff it’s kinda like vengeance but in a more buff aspect the lower you health is while holm is active the more dmg you do simple right I know and could be a fun game of chicken in some areas kinda like the drk I’m the mentality of maybe we shouldn’t heal him right of the bat but a little better cause of the dmg increase and the fact that you can heal him through normal means

    Superbolide is a slap in the face to DRKs.
    IMO thats what DRKs should have had. Sacrifice HP for survival. (It even works well with TBN, as u can shield right before u do it, so server ticks dont kill you)

    WAR
    Its pretty much the Berserker job. And since it was originally the job with some self heals, and a means to increase the amount of HP healed to them (and currently thrill is the only CD that raised a healers healed amount now) They should have had something akin to Living Dead. Of course a lot of WARs kits changed, but it still remains the most suitable tank for this. (Also allows for Nascent Flash to really shine as a MT, more than normal) My main change would be to 'the failure situation', to swap "death", with putting the tank into a state of "Frenzy" where they become uncontrollable, and spam random GCD attacks while frenzied. As for how long, not sure. (There is no DPS increase from this frenzied state)

    This leaves GNB to either get Holmgang, or something else. And IMO, all things considered, Holmgang is pretty good for GNB. GNB has both a heal like WAR, and gets some acceptable survival from brutal shell... (It doesnt get thrill of battles heal, nor its received healing bonus effect)

    You cant just increase their dmg based on low HP, as this leads to balance issues. But, its not too far off from a decent idea, in which you can make it ONLY trigger if they reach 1 HP. Once at 1 HP, they have the dmg buff until holmgang wears off. This requires fatal dmg in order to pull off, and it plays to holmgangs strength of having a shorter CD.

    I could be wrong on how balanced this version would be, but I think it could work.

    Yes, fix LD or make it to where non WHM healers can easily hit the heal requirement. That won't happen though.
    Nothing is wrong with Super. Most healers at this point can tell when it goes off and don't even need a call out for it. You are completely immune to damage and can use a regen/self sustain to heal up a bit.
    Noth wrong with Holmgang now, the only issue was the duration, but that's fixed.
    PLD Hallowed is fine.
    TLDR: Fix LD, ignore everything else as its all fine.

    Do you know what would be better? If they just got rid of invulns altogether. Then the rest of your mitigation kit would have more meaning through cooldown management.

    I think historically, it was good for dramatic effect (i.e. Holmgang vs. Akh Morn), but that idea of a end-tier raid boss smashing you down to 1 HP could easily be reproduced with fight-specific mechanics.

    Impossible no offense just saying they been here since ARR that would be like flipping tank as a whole upside down SE wouldn’t bother and it would be too much work to adjust bosses accordingly not saying your solution wouldn’t be cool it would feel like everything is on the edge but SE killed that concept back in SB and finished it off in ShB though ShB 5.0 almost felt like it lol
    The answers I’m looking for are small easy was that Yoshi n the gang can pump out with little effort so they can move on the bigger things

    That's what people said about tank stances.

    It's actually incredibly easy. When you hit a new expansion, old content becomes trivial. You don't actually have to readjust anything. You just start fresh, and make cooldown management matter in new raid content, instead of invuln-swap-invuln.
