A spoon or a fork. Maybe maybe sporks

I went for poles/staves. I'm not really sure what class would use them but it could maybe be some sort of Geomancer that enhances their weapon with earth/water/wind to essentially be a melee ranged caster class.
Kind of like the Monkey King boss now that I think about it.

A little off topic, but honestly I wish they would abandon the 1 weapon tied to 1 class. We have the soul stones to mark what class we are playing. There could just as easily be something similar you start with that gets upgraded/replaced at 30.
I don’t necessarily mean give every class access to every weapon, but maybe allow a few options to let you spec horizontally instead of just materia.
I know this is basically impossible, but hey, could be interesting.

It's not impossible at all as that's basically how Scholar/Summoner works. The devs have said that this creates major problems on the back end, though, and it's supposedly something they are still struggling with to this day so they have pretty much axed the possibility of them doing the same sort of thing again. Personally, I would love to see this sort of system implemented further as well (break Warrior out into Tank and DPS variants as an example).A little off topic, but honestly I wish they would abandon the 1 weapon tied to 1 class. I mean, even if they forced primary standard weapons in duties, it would be nice to use a club or mace as WhM when running solo for extra DPS...

2H hammers for Warriors. Yes, Dwarfen Mythril hammer exists but we could use more (a lot more) They don't even have to recreate any animations. Just give us big hammers so i can smash things, dangit!

I mentioned before that I voted for hammers, I fell I should elaborate why.
I also expressed an interest in ethereal blades, but that is more specific to Magic Knight-type jobs like spellblades and rune fencers.
- As it stands MNK is the only Job that does blunt damage, so having another Job for that (especially as a tank) would help it out a little
- the Hammer have been a weapon as much as it has been a tool, right now we only have the tool incarnation via certian offhands.
