I used it on a bard during Amon to bring him to the safe spot during Curtain Call.
He walks right back out from cover and dies. Sometimes people just can't be saved.
My personal favorite is folks thinking they will be safe using the crystal that's all up on the boss. I've seen too many parties wipe that way there.
As a Ninja, I had a trials roulette that got me into Susano story (which had the DPS role as adventurer in need.) Smooth run without total party wipes overall. However, the RDM who got targeted with a stack marker tried to avoid others and got knocked out. He typed up in party chat that he just realized that those orange arrows mean to split the damage among party members. One minute later, I typed up in the same party chat that there are 3 mandatory story instances that use the same stack marker before the Susano fight. As far as that RDM is concerned, better late than never I guess. *shrugs

9 times out of 10, tanks don't grab aggro on the enlarged Peaseblossom in Titania normal. Sometimes Puck, too. Mustardseed does virtually nothing to anybody other than the cone aoes, but you can bet both tanks will be beating the crap out of him. Then when both healers get smeared across the floor by the other mobs, they'll ask "what happened?"
And when you tell them that they need to have aggro on the other two mobs, they'll say "i thought i did" when they clearly didn't or "i'll make sure to grab them next time" and then they won't do it next time. It'll take 3 wipes before they actually adjust tactics.
Then there's the entire ordeal of getting the dps to LB. You talk to one specifically about LBing when the mobs get large, and they're on board with it. Then they won't, and then they'll start the cast while targetted by 2 aoes and won't cancel it to move.
This has happened to me several times.

That phase is like an 8 person blood sacrifice to some Vampiric God that Titania hasn't told anyone about.
Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.

I was grinding Poetics to outfit my level 50 WHM with Ironworks gear. So I went to the main story roulette, and ended up at The Praetorium. I was playing as the WHM, and I was paired with a SCH. The thing is, I had never played with another healer before, so for a lot of the run I wasn't sure what to do. I even died at one point out of getting overwhelmed by the enemies. The SCH made up for my failings, but I did feel bad about. So the request in question: as a WHM, what is the best behavior when playing with other healers?
In DF stuff like this, I would say expect to be solo healing the duty. Hopefully the other healer heals, but don't expect them to do so. Honestly, in MSQ, there is almost no damage going into the party, so tossing a regen and hitting medica 2 every so often usually covers it anyway.Today's story comes with a request.

As the other poster mentioned go into MSQ with the expectation to solo heal the run, at worst you end up overhealing at best someone is healing.Today's story comes with a request.
