



I dunno if you can call a "no fly" option a QoL thing (request would be the appropriate word), especially when you already have the option to choose not to fly.
The newer areas are designed around flying, to the point they have areas that cannot be accessed without it (and not just areas that are empty space, either), so I don't see something like this being accommodated for. If you don't want to fly, don't use a mount.
It already is like that with 2x mount speed boosts in the area. First boost you just need to complete the MSQ in the area for; second boost you buy the riding maps for with hunt seals (or bicolor gems in SB2 areas).Why don’t the DEVs just make land speed the same as flying speed as long as you unlocked flying in the area.
It's a QOL, not a request. A request is for a new system or feature that doesn't exist. A QOL is for something that exists but make it better. Making the stealth spell on botanist/miner/fisher easier to use like they did is a QOL to an existing feature. Adding fly: on and off is a QOL.

I would not use the option, but it should not be all that hard to make so your mount is unable to fly. More options for players to have direct control over aspects of the game that would improve their personal experience is not a bad thing. Doubt it will be a thing, but signed for ya.

This would be like petitioning them to add a "QoL" toggle to disable the display of enemy AoE telegraphs. Whether you like it or not, the game was designed around having them there.

Making an option to disable flying for your immersion isn't a QOL issue at most it's an RP one. But as many have already pointed out the option already exists. They won't bother adding an option how you want it since there are area the require flying and it doesn't make since to make a system option that would have to be turned off regularly.It's a QOL, not a request.
