Had not done ANY of their job quests upon unlocking the job at 30.

So a BLM who skipped all relevant job quests. So lets see... no freeze, no flare, and on the way to no foul... so their aoe would be sleep(you might need it), fire 2, thunder 2, and bliz 2. Thats not very promising. What about single target... no bliz 3 or 4, no thunder 3, no fire 4... so basically missing every spell i use for single target at 80 aside from that lone fire 1 to keep AF for a full cycle. Oh, and buffs... no ley lines, sharpcast or eno. All of this plus poor gear? This guy needs to go back to 'splosion school, he shouldnt be allowed to call himself a black mage. With all the stuff missing, hes light gray at best. You are a saint for putting up with that for long enough to run Shisui twice. Any of us reading this would have understood if that guys run ended in a kick around the 5 minute mark.

This one is my next step for story progression. Sounds like it’s gonna be fun.

I would imagine its still the hard trial from SB. That part of the story(keeping this spoiler free) might still be my favorite bit of that expansion. But yeah, thats a fun one. Good music, good story, and a couple dangerous mechanics but nothing so overwhelming that it cant be cleared. Have fun!

Sprout tank cleaving the party; people standing in AoEs; no one picking up the adds, the other healer and DPS getting slaughtered by them. Total body count: 5. A new record, I think! Never saw anything quite like it.

And done. Had several people new to it in the group. Wiped on the first try with her having I think a fifth or so of her health left. I don’t think I saw a single person die on the second attempt however. I think I liked the Four Lords better than her, but all the Stormblood Trials are all better than the previous ones so far imho.

Are we allowed to put positive stories here?

I used Duty Finder to do Extreme Ifrit, Garuda, Titan and Moogle in the past few days. I know lots of people (on reddit) seem to say not to queue for these and it'd be a nightmare but actually, every party I was in was friendly (bar one person in Garuda) and we all worked together, with vets explaining mechanics and everyone wailing on the Primals for fun. Only one group failed (Moogle), but no one got uppity, we all vote abandoned and went off in good spirits. I got on another Moogle run and won in a different group. The hardest challenge was Titan, which had the best group of newbies ever tbh. We got hammered so much, and yet, no one grumbled or insulted or anything. We just were 100% positive and kept trying and trying and finally we got him on probably the 90th try, but everyone, vets and newbies just did their best and refused to give up. It was fantastic and a great show from the community IMO, except that one guy in the Garuda group, who gets to sit in the naughty corner by himself.
