Started today off great with a raging headache and some medicine to take the pain off so I've got some real brain fog going on. Queued into leveling roulette with my friend and pulled the large group right after the ship. Rotated through all my cooldowns and they still weren't dead and noticed that the BLM was in umbral ice a suspiciously long time. Continued to watch them and saw their casted rotation on large pulls was Blizzard III->Thunder III->Thunder III->Thunder III->Blizzard III with a transpose to fire and then directly back to Blizzard slipped in there every once in a while with zero fire spells being cast. Tried to politely ask if they'd like some advice and got complete silence so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After that we queued into normal raid roulette and got Soul of the Creator. I've only done it once before as a DPS but was tank this time. Everything was good until I completely spaced out after the add phase and remembered upon seeing XL-xander that tank LB3 is required to survive the unavoidable. Slapped that button and immediately went "oh no" as I also remembered in that moment that I WASN'T THINKING AT ALL AND HIT IT WAY TOO EARLY (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ I was so god damn embarrassed. I apologized profusely but the other tank got a good number of /slaps on me before we both fell. Kept my dumb idiot fingers away from LB3 the next time and just let him hit it. Sorry about the 6 minutes of our lives we'll never get back guys I swear my brain rot isn't usually this symptomatic

Decided to queue for leveling to get some clusters. Got Malikahs Well, where I was WHM, I had DRK, DRG and MCH. Our DRK seemed to be one that boosted themselves to 70, but I thought that maybe in 7 levels they would have learned something. Nope, that was not the case. Not a single cooldown was seen, or Blackest Knight (it's even the free dps you get for god's sake). They did 2 Unleashes and then single targeted, didn't even do the correct 2 part aoe combo and let the agro run wild... I gave them a chance to first boss to prove me I should stay. Not a single cooldown for tankbuster, took adds of dps when they were almost dead. I decided it's enough for me and took my leave.
I have seen enough 0 cooldown tanks, to not stay and suffer. Sorry for the dps that had to wait so long for the dungeon x.x

Did Expert today, and I have a habit of examining everyone frequently. Just because I like looking at other people's characters. The Ninja was using i230 daggers. I told them, and they switched after the Phuabo, but it was interesting. About as interesting as the time my SCH in Savage raid group during Alphascape did an entire pull in O12s with no helmet(we still made it to Final Omega that pull, just well... he was embarassed).

Had a a few more hiccups. BRD died first boss, and healer also almost bought it. Then final pull, was hoping the BRD would LB, but by the time I was realizing they weren't going to and typing out, "Please LB." I was dead. Fortunately the pull was down to just four mobs shortly after that thanks to the Ninja, and a quick raise let me get everything back before we all died. The BRD did buy it again though.

Stone Fall really hurts even with CDs, so I can only imagine that dude was almost dead every time it came up. Effigy not so much from the second boss. Storge's tankbuster is not telegraphed(no cast bar) and I'm sitting here thinking, that tankbuster + the phase where he spams Intestinal Crank = dead tank. Probably many more healers left.

It's always curious when I basically carry a rathalos ex party. Most runs go without issue. Then I got booted after a macro'd "thanks for party <se.3> only to find the same guy back up on PF.

No arguments. No deaths from me (someone else did die though). Oh well. 8 scales to go.

I was in a pretty great group for that the other day. Ten successful hunts before I needed to take a break, only two wipes.

To be fair I've accidentally killed a few groups when she puts that marker on me + the fans, because my brain is still trying to follow the fan mechanics, while everyone is waiting for me to run to the middle(basically the marker mechanic takes priority).

#1 mechanic that gets most people is Selenomancy(this is a cool name that means lunar divination). Just switch sides every time the phase changes, but people wanna get all 4 stacks lol.

To be fair I've accidentally killed a few groups when she puts that marker on me + the fans, because my brain is still trying to follow the fan mechanics, while everyone is waiting for me to run to the middle(basically the marker mechanic takes priority).

This one is my next step for story progression. Sounds like it’s gonna be fun.

That's one of my favorite trials because the music is so hyped, especially during phase 2.
