And when did I say it' Yoshida's fault ? Yoshida is not SE as far as I know, isn't he ?
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
As someone who was brought up more on free-to-play MMOs (MapleStory in particular), I just never understand why people get upset when glamours show up on the Mog Station...
Does the outfit disappear from your inventory after 3 months no matter what you do, so you have to buy it again?
Does the outfit offer amazing benefits that players can't make any serious progress without?
Is the outfit something any player, casual or hardcore, can't be seen without or else they're not respected?
Not to mention, it's... not that great of a glamour (to me, anyway).
Never heard of it. That the new extreme? I still haven't done anything new in-game since I resubbed.
People seem to want nothing added to the mogstation, and when something is added there is a complaint thread. Specifically if it is something whichever OP at the time wants. Useless, since the mogstation is already here and people buy the items. It's not going away. "Could be added in-game".. it would never be added in-game, because these were created specifically for the mogstation.
Honestly, since they changed the "feminine" design from Titania, for a non gender-locked glamour that looks weird and make players look like some kind of fairy hippie priest, I will pass.
The wings are too low, too little and everything that made the Titania dress aerial is gone. This without saying anything about the clipping.

Yes SE is trying to get more money will it work depends on people but mog station exclusives are there to try make more money and as far as we have been told mog station revenue is the sole source of income that only goes to FFXIV development alone.
There are however 3 items on the mog station that do bother me that they are on there, Sleipner, Red Baron and White Devil all 3 were worked on by the main developers and not the mog station developers, Sleipner had already been designed for every race because the Odin fate mechanics demanded it, White Devil/Red Baron are palette swaps of Magitek Armor which was already in game, the only reason these were sold off was to promote the mog station itself as these were part of the 1st patch of items.
Everything else can be traced to mog station crew doing the work for expreas purpose to make money but those 3 nope main dev team did all that work just wanted to sell it.
Since it's just glamour, I don't care
I'm just some guy...
I really don't get how you can not have issues with a game that forces you to buy it, the expansions and pay a sub to access it and still sell you exclusive glamour in the Cash Shop.
I mean, I really, really don't get it, the outfit is basically the price of a month sub oO

I think because people expect cash shops in free-to-play MMOs and they aren't keen on a cash shop in a subscription MMO.
Also, back in the day in 1.0 and early 2.0 before the cash shop existed - for event items you could just purchase anything you missed from the previous year event from an npc in-game during the next year's event. You can't do that now. If you miss it you have to buy it off the cash shop now.
If the the Cash Shop practices as well as other problems you may have with this game is getting too much, now seems to be a great time to try out other MMOs. Many seem to be popping right now due to the quarantine and some offer limited bonus content/rewards.
Don't limit your feedback with criticism, vote with your wallet as well.
It is even worst, many F2P allow to get event items from the previous season during the new event... SE is incredibly greedy on this part. Also, back in the day in 1.0 and early 2.0 before the cash shop existed - for event items you could just purchase anything you missed from the previous year event from an npc in-game during the next year's event.
