No, you were trying to refute the previous poster's claim something about clothing and "LGBT+". Thongs aren't "normal" clothing, at least not in the world I consider normal. Whether you are "LGBT+" or not having your butt cheeks out is weird.

Uhmm. I thought that the consideration of circumstances to decide if you can wear something here and now (as an example - wearing skirt or pants at the office is okay, wearing bikini is not as it's not the place for it) should've been obvious.
If anything, I'm not even sure that "thongs" in Amnmaat's message was used in direct meaning, as there is no such clothing in FF14 really (except maybe Highlanders' female Hempen Camise set and probably Thavnairian Tights that are still female only). I wouldn't even be surprised if it's a typo and it was supposed to be "things" - O and I are next to each other on keyboard. I just quoted it the way it was said as it didn't have any special weight for my point, and still doesn't.

So... by this logic, all the rabbit ladies all over my server running around in just a bra and either the 2B panties or the viera starting underwear is weird too, right? I mean I don't love seeing it... but just making sure we're clear here since I've seen more player character butt in the last few months of the game than the entire 7 years leading up to this point.
That's proper attire for a race living in the jungle, for men it would be loincloths or shorts; not v-shaped bottoms, that's a female staple.So... by this logic, all the rabbit ladies all over my server running around in just a bra and either the 2B panties or the viera starting underwear is weird too, right? on what planet is lingerie suitable for the jungle lmao

Welp, not lingeries definetely, but when you google "jungle people" (though this probably isn't the best definition) - they aren't really wearing anything what you would call clothes in its modern meaning. A lot of tribes wear just enough to close the pubis area, and that's it. They can also provide a rough idea of how actually should look male Viera (and even female Viera) if we were trying to achieve realistic body type. /shrug

That point I understand, I was referring to the few posts above mine. Viera wear what they wear because sexy, not because its suitable for their jungle lolWelp, not lingeries definetely, but when you google "jungle people" (though this probably isn't the best definition) - they aren't really wearing anything what you would call clothes in its modern meaning. That's fair. Though, their attire (which is more, like, specifically Fran's attire tbh, it just became a signature in case with FF14) is still suiting their way of life better than let's say heavy armor or robes. But yeah, the attire being sexy is obviously the part of reason why it became racial (the main probably being the fact it's Fran's signature attire).
