That's why there is never any resolution to these threads, because that's all either side has to argue with. So they just go around and around, like a dog chasing its tail, until everyone gets bored after a few days/weeks and it peters out. Only to crop back up again a few weeks later when someone has a new anecdote to share.

And to answer your question, it's because this is the internet and complaining is basically an Olympic sport here.
We have already proposed many constructive changes here. I want a working blacklist so that everyone I send there will never get caught in roulette with me.

Everything remains the same, because people are used to the fact that complaints exist for the sake of complaints, not for the sake of results.
And of course, mentors will always be against any changes. This is non-negotiable.
