No Hildibrand in 5.3?

Please someone correct me if i'm completely wrong, but I didn't see any mention of Hildibrand in the Live Letter notes I read. I wasn't there live so not sure if something was mentioned or not. But, is there really going to be no Hildibrand in 5.3? Hasn't there always been Hildibrand in the xx.3 patch? One of my favorite quest lines in the entire game. Please Square don't forget about Hildibrand!

Today's LL was part one. Part two will be sometime before 5.3 and Yoshi said he has a lot more to cover in that LL. So it may still come in 5.3 and he just didn't mention it in this LL.

I honestly won't be surprised if there's no planned Hildibrand for recent expnasion at all. He usually travels to appropriate areas of the expansions, and since 5.0 is placed in basically another world, it's unlikely that we will meet him there.
That said, I will be glad to have his story again, but I don't keep my hopes high and expect to see him in 6.x rather than now.

Except that the end of Hildy’s SB story, he and Nashu were being taken to the Void by Gilgamesh. The same void that lets him travel into different FF worlds.

This is it! We have found the hidden plot. We will have a crossover event between FFVII and FFXIV with Hildibrand and Cloud will have to fight Gigaga
