We'll be meant to continue the conflict with the Garleans but a mysterious monster called Sin will start eating each of the Scions one by one. We'll then learn that the inside of Sin is actually another Shard called Spira where a bearded, red bandana wearing, alcoholic used Sin to swallow the Scions with the hopes of freeing himself so he can prevent the rejoining.
