...at the same time you have "Amal'jaa" (I forgot their name on The First, sorry) living in Crystarium as caretakers of the Amaro - instead of being considered a "Beast Tribe" and being feared by the people living in the cities.

I actually really like that because it shows that there isnt a valid point to call one part of the "intelligent" (or shall we say "spoken"?) population "beast tribe". Its all a matter of perspective and "cultural development" - on The First it went in such a way that lalafell/dwarves are living only in their own settlements, dont mix much with the rest of the world and are probably "feared" by the people living in Kholusia. While the Amal'jaa developed culutrally in such a way that no one minds them.

It really shows how artifical the term "Beast Tribe" is, how it has nothing to do with intelligence or appearence and is mainly a way to discriminate against other beings.

...kinda intresting that people get upset about it being used in regards to lalafell, but dont have that much of an issue when it comes to other races being labelded "beasts"...
