When the Shards split from the Source the Sundering basically resulted in a replication of everything (hence the other term 'reflection'), however any pre Sundering/Terminus remnant on the Source has almost certainly been obliterated over the past 12000 years and succesive Calamities (Y'shtola actually states this at the Forgotten Walls in The Tempest).

Remember, even ruins from pre Sixth Calamity that was nearly 2000 years ago are almost non existant, and as far as known virtually nothing from before the Third Astral Era (aka, anything pre Allagan Empire) even exists anymore.

So alas, don't expect to see anything remotely like Amaurot left on the Source I'm afraid.
