    I like see carbruncle on field then summon ifrit shiva and garuda for 60 second limit use they skill which place dots on mobs which the bane can spread to other mobs but titan more give the summoner shielding spell that protect her or him for damage.

    I believe ffxiv should be it own game not borrowing for guild wars 2.

    my suggest is to keep summoner as people think it is for ff series but draw on ideal for them as I suggest with some of jobs in ffxiv

    summoner could draw on elemental of ffxi where summoner summon the prime for limit time in battle like I suggest use carbruncle more as permit pets or any many a pet that service the more reasonable primes like Ramuh and Shiva.

    I like see more pets jobs not less and improvement made on current one I also like see new companion like dragonling for example.

    if I where SE I would see this period were one can't work on expansion or patch as perfect place work on overhauling the ffxiv 1.0 engine for it benfitted all jobs for it to be overhaul not just pet jobs. if you think about 2.0 to 5.25 isn't much different then 1.0 but it give them a chance earn alittle exp money. through the devs team I problem busy even while covrnida 19 is going on

    my desire for devs isn't remove what they have but expand and improve on it. I think SE has ability to improve summoner I would love see Medic which is chemist but I figure we have alchemist so called medic and add dog is a good tribute to FFviii. I like ideal of ranger what hawk that attack them enemy then fly away allow ranger to cause further damage in dnd ranger have pet. many culture in age past use hawks to hunt and fight in war. through the hunt hawk would smaller then hawk ranger would use. like I said I don't want do away with summoner ability but expand them they only way is for devs to challenge them selves to make more pets jobs as and at same point look how they improve summoner/scholar. I meanly offer suggest and a challenge to the devs I can suggest ideal to improve summoner and scholar but that all.

    the same reason I often suggest allow players to have dragonling to lvl and help grown

    SMN is amazing now. I literally would not change it!!

    That said, bringing in a new class like Beastmaster would be nice and have it have pets that you can tame and then use would be kinda cool. But please SE do not make it or any new job a limited job ever again! IMO BLU in FFXIV is the worst thing to ever have come about.

    Unfortunately beastmaster would very likely be a limited job if it had the full on tame aspect, otherwise itd need to be more along the lines of smn, having a select few set monters you can bring out kinda deal. As for current pets, still have issues, their actions can be very delayed, sometimes to point where some dont even happen. Guess they could increase their movement speed just a smig and quicken the animations they do, definitely have had garuda and eos/selene just up and vanish on me during dungeon runs a few times, along with just losing pet action and even devotion or enkindle...

    I'd have carbuncles be the basic pets. ST one, AoE one, defence one.

    Your various austerities of X quests would unlock a demi for each carby. Using the "demi-summon" skill makes the appropriate primal burst out of whichever carby is summoned and gain charged up version of their attacks. Enkindle functions basically the same as Enkindle Bahamut (which is a skill I'd do away with, just have Enkindle be Enkindle for whatever Demi you've summoned.)

    HW would be much the same, unlocking trance for Bahamut.

    SB would be much the same, unlocking demi Bahamut. He combines with your trance though now, in much the same way Pheonix gives you special primal skills, so would Bahamut.

    ShB would have you apply this new knowledge backwards on to your original demi-Ifrit/Garuda/Titan. With Pheonix being your cap stone skill still.

    At some point after HW the SMN job trainer would have an optional side-quest where she provides some excuse-plot reasoning for expanding your original pet collection. You can then go on Austerities of Lightning/Ice/Water quests to unlock 3 new carby variants and associated demi-summons. A SMN glam window would let you put these 6 options in the 3 summon slots.

    I would apply the same standard of demi to ifrit garuda titan Shiva and Ramuh

    give summoner ability to summoner Diamond Carbruncle and Amyestial Carbruncle

    beastmaster could be limit job and have pvp elemental to it beast master and they beast vs beastmaster their beast

    through they wont make peta happy but who care about peta it far worst on animal then video games.

    The visuals and mechanics are underwhelming to me. Honestly, I've been playing the FF7 remake last couple of days and the gameplay is just stellar. Like an evolution of KH3 and FF15. One of the best combat systems I've played that has weight behind the normal attacks. Has variety in its normal attacks and does a decent job of not making it feel to hack and slash. Also blends turn-based and qte into the combat so fluidly imo. If that combat engine isnt utilized for future FF installments including the MMO, I'd be super disappointed. It would definitely be a waste. I got to seriously thinking about it and I truly have convinced myself it would work in an MMO. They already have a Warrior/Dark Knight base with Cloud. Monk with Tifa, BLM/WHM with Aerith, MCH with Garret and PLD/SAM. A beautiful base template imo.

    Similar to FF7R, I could see SMN focus on increasing his summon gauge with his own actives then choose to summon 1 of 3 primals (just to start). Then that primal exists for a period of time, say 30-60 seconds and attacks on their own, but you can issue special hard hitting attacks. (So kinda similar to what they were trying to go with before ShB). But like FF7R, make those suckers big and intimidating. Im not scared of a chicken nugget with legs or a tiny birb. And having a floating candle next to me doesnt make me feel like I'm "channeling the primals" or whatever. I want some big bois that make me say "Dang, now thats an Eikon...".

    I absolutely love the idea of the primals fighting on their own and you just use special attacks for their big attacks. Hopefully that’s something square will implement in 6.0 I want summoner to feel like a summoner. Give us a trance rotation like bard had with its songs.
