Their entire schedule is delayed, and you're hoping they'll get to the extra stuff they couldn't even fit into it when running normally? Wishful thinking indeed.

People can work away from the office. Many are doing that today. My roommate for example has been working non stop at home because she has an IT job and that allows her to work remotely. I seriously doubt that the development team is sitting around doing nothing watching Anime on TV. I suspect there is work being done and for all we know this might be something that can e worked on when away from the office.

We'll have to wait and see how development is affected but after all is said and done keeping the team safe is a priority.

It probably is wishful thinking, but with people able to remote work and the big stuff delayed for maybe a month (or more) might be that some devs do a little bit of work on some of the less important side stuff?
