I love the WHM relic more than any weapon in the game, tbh. I’ve been fawning over it all morning. The stats and the look make me incredibly happy, but my WHM glam has been nature based for a bit so I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect one.

However if you’re not happy with it, I’m sure it’s been said but it’s just the first step. It will change appearance in latter steps so hold out hope for whatever it is you’re wanting I guess.

I love the new WHM relic. The stats are amazing too. Thank you SE. Going to pass on the Tome weapon personally.

Edit: And additionally you can be sure this isn't the final version although I like this one, the final stage will look nothing like this introductory weapon. They never do.

Indeed, and well said-- as did BunniEclair also mentioned above.

To the OP: The final form of the relic hardly ever looks likes the introductory base form-- so enjoy the darn bloody tree branch while you can because it's actually quite true to the job. In case you forgot, the current reiteration of White mage-- which I believe gradually reemerged in the... (briefly rubs his temple)... Astral seventh era-- does in fact originate from the Padjal and elementals in Gridania who revived the class after the madness of the sixth Umbral calamity. Thus, having a "branch" as a weapon is highly appropriate.

And yes, the stats on all the new relics are truly amazing.

For the first time in a long time I'm just using an non-glamoured staff that is on my level. Because it's exactly what I've always wanted for something nature like without looking too clunky, overly feminine or SHINY SHINY.

I have to agree though with those who said it's a smack in the face after they took away our nature-related spells. Give them back please.
