Ima ignore the voice in my head telling me not to get involved but here you go and i really don't see why this is an issue.
Here's a thought as Raltar has said your choice in dungeon means you should be expected to perform in a way that does not undermind group efficiency. time is not the best measurement of a good or bad run its HOW the run goes. I've gotten max comms out of a run that took 25-30 mins because i remember how to hit buttons on paladin or gunbreaker for example. thing is you got all these different skillsets that compliment different ways, and people of varying skill levels and thats PERFECTLY FINE if you want to go slower if its communicated and accepted. this is not a monarchy/patriarchy because of your role it is a majority rules environment. if they state one action don't be the person that pitches a freaking fit over it. I don't care if: We go slow because you don't have confidence in your dungeon knowledge, go slow because you have a specific issue related to doing things or need help. TELL ME and I'll do my job as a tank and adjust. that's part of my job. healers should keep that in mind too as should the dps. its not role specific. do your part and I'll do mine. if I'm told to go big and i see a dps out in boonies still spamming single target I couldn't really care less as long as the dps is consistant or things are still dying at the pace required. if you start making it so i have to start getting fancy surviving to help the healers mp THEN we have a problem. the time we spend masspulling is EQUAL TO the time it would take to burn each packs with skilled single target rotations then I don't care.
But lets not treat this game like a i need my morning coffee type job okay? handle any business that distracts you before queing up for higher level content. end of story. all that should be happening is things dying at reasonable pace. its stupid we have to do dungeons for story, but we could at least make it simpler by not tearing at each others throats during it and actually doing a bit of class memorization and practice ok?
