Yea I read that thread earlier but since I never really paid that much attention and I'm not a computer to test it, I didn't comment on it. But since you're the second person to mention it, I guess It's broken, as it doesn't do what the description says.
Theres another fundamental flaw in the job; there aren't enough:

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say it's broken. I think it doesn't act as it should, logically.

As much as I love the idea and have had times when I wished Parsimony worked this way, I suspect this is the reason why SE won't do it because Parsimony only cuts the MP costs on offensive spells as opposed to all spells like you've incorrectly pointed out here.
I also suspect the user interface, due to how it's structured (blame the original developers for this, though, not Yoshi-P and the current team) isn't flexible enough to accommodate such changes, especially so if it's restricted to offensive spells only compared to all spells.

When I said 'All' spells I meant offensive spells, since 90% of THM spells are offensive I didn't bother repeating it again. And I'm sure the poor design from the original DEV team might prevent the 2nd part, which is why I said 'as an added bonus'... because it may not be possible.
You missed the whole point of the thread, I think... cut the cost of spells (lyke OMFG 0ffenxivE Spell OnRy LIKE THE DeSkriPtion Sayz) before you cast instead of after.

I'm not an English as first language speaker.... but "and restores MP when spell is cast." suddenly looks odd to me. (I thought I perfectly understood this before your thread.)
so I checked dictionary... cast... past tense & past participle is cast... so Parsimony is function whatever it said... give you mp back when the spell is done...
but anyhow...
I'm OK with this ability. I hate to like others to tell you "deal with it" but this spell set this way add more spice to the game. I pop out featherfoot or run away a lot cus this mp management issue. Starting a fight in low mp is weird already.
