Because our sub gives us access to far more content than a mount? I get being upset over the pricing or the Cash Shop in general, but lets not pretend we're losing some significant piece of content. In fact, this is the first exclusive Cash Shop mount of Shadowbringers compared to what, 20 they've added in-game? I don't like the timing but I'll just not buy it.

Pretty much this...like...sure you can't get it in-game but does it affect gameplay in anyway? are you gaining some sort of advantage?
Its just a dumb mount you only use in the open world, these knee-jerk comments are the pinnacle of over reacting.
Like its fine to be mad but lets not throw out "I'm quitting!" "Small indie company!!!" like you're actually gonna quit over not having a mount.

I don't think there's a single mmo, where you can every item available. Again, stop seeing FFXIV or any mmo like an average $60 retain game. I'm not saying to just throw money at SE like an idiot, but all those funds are the reason why we've gotten as many consistent content patches as we have.

there are no sub mmos today(that im aware of) that dont have a cash shop its just a product of the times the 15$ a month model just isn't paying the bills anymore when you factor in employee pay, production time and upkeep as well as server maintenance its all expensive as hell the cash shop subsidizes that expense.

Smart people understand that SE is a business and will continue to sell items on the Mog Station as long as they are making additional money out of it.

I believe your sub entitles you to access to the game's servers at the level you purchased, and that's all. And even that is subject to restrictions at SE's discretion. Pretty sure that's the basic messages of the Ts and Cs

If what you are saying is true that means they could nickle and dime you for quests, gear and whatever else you would need to play the game which is absurd. No it doesn't. All your sub money pays for is to get into the park. It does NOT cover anything extra and yes that means your sub means nothing to the mogstation. Its like going to Disney land just because you buy a season pass does not mean you can go stroll into Club 33 or spend a night at Disney land hotel. They extra expenses that you have to pay for outside the entry fee, they could charge too be on the rides if they wanted to but they dont.

So we pay them and they make extra content...sounds like an expansion..no then extra extra? Still not enough money? You are foolish if you believe that the money you spend doesnt go into cashshop items. No one is asking for anything free...we all pay my friend.
